World’s Most Amazing Bran Muffins
Pour boiling water over cereals. In a separate bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Stir in buttermilk, salt, and baking soda. Stir wet mixture into cereal mixture. Stir in flour.
Scoop into sprayed muffin cups. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
