First off, thank you so much for the love and support posted in the comments to my last post. I really felt a lot of love from you all.
Other than a few minutes of feeling like THE only un-pregnant person in the universe a few times each week as friends announce their pregnancies*, my heart is doing very much better. Physically, I have a lot more energy than I have in the last few weeks and have gotten back in the habit of regular exercise, which has boosted my mood and my energy.
*(side note:) dear friends who have announced pregnancies lately: I don’t hate you in any way. I may be wildly jealous, but I’m really, truly happy for you too. Please don’t hesitate to share!
In completely un-related news, I have been having a lot of fun planning details of a future house/apartment/place of residence. After Michael graduates, we’re going to need to move out of student housing an into somewhere a little more permanent. While we don’t have anything nailed down, we have decided a few things that are extremely happy to me:
1. Two bedrooms. Minimum. No more having to store everything we own that we don’t want on display in our closet, under our beds, or as furniture in our bedroom! Huzzah!
2. We get to update our bathroom. I LOVE our current shower curtain, and not-so-secretly, I’d love to have 2 bathrooms. So Michael is letting me update, with the hope that we end up having 2 bathrooms to decorate! One bathroom will house our current bathroom decor, and one gets a makeover. Wahoo!
I’ve had a lot of fun looking at fun modern/graphic shower curtain options. Here are a few of my favorites.
I love the colors and the clean lines on these fish. If I were doing a kids’ bathroom, this would be my choice in a heartbeat! You could have so much fun having each child choose a towel they love that matches the colors of the fish.
I love this so-so-so much. Love the colors, love the style. Everything about it. It looks a similar to the style of our bedspread.
This is Michael’s personal favorite. I love it. Love the tree design and the green is fun. I’d probably get a few matching hand towels and do the rest of the towels and rugs in a chocolatey brown. Ooh baby. Love it.
Which do you like?
