- 10–12 apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1” dice
- 3/4–1c apple cider
- Place apples and 3/4c cider in a slow-cooker. Cover, and cook 3 1/2-4 hours on high. Mash with a potato masher. For smoother applesauce, pulse in a food processor or blender in batches until smooth. Add additional cider to thin out if necessary.
Makes 1 – 1 1/2 quarts applesauce
