Favorite Things: March Edition!
Monthly Favorites: March Edition! It’s monthly favorites time and this one is spring themed. We’re talking favorite tees for warmer weather, some floral kicks to dance in, spring entertaining ideas, and more!Â
Spring has SPRUNG and when we’re not sneezing away our spring allergies, we’re doing a happy dance that it’s here. We’ve been working on our patio and backyard furniture in the last few weeks (more on that soon!), and decorating inside for Easter.
I’ve had a MAJOR spring cleaning bug, tackling my pantry, oven, bathroom cabinets, and everyone’s closets. It was time to retire a few things (I’m looking at you, hole-y teeshirts and sneakers!) so we’ve been updating our spring capsules as we go. (If this month’s faves seem to fall in the cleaning/organizing/spring clothes family, you’ll know why!)
Without further ado, here are some of my favorite picks for spring…
1. THE BEST BOOK I’VE READ LATELY
The BEST book I read last month was How to Find Love in a Bookshop. It’s a book for book lovers! The set-up reminded me of Love, Actually, with a ton of different plot lines going on. I was invested in almost all of them, and felt a little lonely when the book was over. I wanted to keep hearing what happened to everyone next! (It would make an adorable movie)
PS – I share what I’m reading (fiction + nonfiction) each week in my weekly newsletters. You can sign up here if you want to jump on the list!Â
2. THE CUTEST FLORAL SNEAKERS
My last pair of everyday sneakers just bit the dust, so I ordered a pair of these floral KEDS and can’t wait for them to get here! (It was a tough choice between these and the happy stripe pair. I LOVE them!)
3 & 4: TWO FAVORITE SHORT SLEEVE TEES FOR WARM WEATHER
First, I’m LOVING these v-neck short sleeve tees. I bought the blush and the white a few months ago and REALLY hope they come out with a few other colors soon. The sleeve length is so flattering, and the V isn’t too deep. They’re cute with jeans or tucked into skirts. Love them!
Second, I know I’ve shared these before, but these knot-front tees are another favorite. I’ve worn them with jeans, and worn them knotted over skirts (or un-knotted tucked into skirts). I have the black and white and wear them alllll the time. They released a few new colors this season, which is fun!

5. BREATHABLE NAIL POLISHÂ
Totally digging this breathable nail polish from ORLY. It’s formulated as a cleaner nail polish, without formaldehyde, phthalates, parabens, etc. I’ve got a few colors (Beauty Essential is one of my favorites–it’s the one I’m wearing in these photos), and I think they wear really well with a good topcoat!
6. MILK GLASS SERVING PIECES FOR SPRING PARTIES
It was love at first sight when I saw the new Milk Glass Collection from Hearth & Hand at Target. I can’t wait till the pink is fully stocked, but in the meantime, I picked up one of these beautiful jade milk glass trays for spring parties. (Baby showers, Easter brunch, birthdays, etc.) It’s SO beautiful!
7. NICE SMELLING SPRING CLEANER!
Mrs Meyer’s peony scented all-purpose cleaner is back! I love that it’s more naturally formulated and this scent and the Apple Cider one they release in the fall are my two favorites. This makes our bathrooms smell so fresh and clean!
Those are some of my picks–now what are yours?! Shout them out below!
PS – If you love monthly faves, you’d LOVE the weekly newsletter! I share weekly tips, recipes, menu ideas, and more + a collection of weekly favorites including clothes, home decor, music, movies, books, etc. that were loving.Â
The Ms. Meyers Peony is the BEST! I just ordered a million bottles of the peony scented dish soap – I didn’t realize it was a seasonal scent and was so bummed last year when I ran out! If you like apple cider scents, Method makes an amazing Honeycrisp scented spray cleaner that is my jam in the fall.
Oh, I’m TOTALLY going to keep my eyes open for that Honeycrisp scent! YUM!
Thanks for the book recommendation. It looks so good! I love stories that center around books. Bookstores and libraries are my happy places!
I know what you mean! They’re mine too 🙂
Do you find that those AE T-shirts are see through? It drives me nuts to have to wear a tank top under a T-shirt in the summer!
I know just what you mean! I definitely don’t think the colored ones are see through, and the white one hasn’t been see through for me (I wear a neutral colored bra under). If you have a darker complexion, it *might* be a little see through, but if you’re lighter complected, I don’t think that would be a problem.
