1. Powwish. This girl is obsessed with nail polish. She’s almost always got her nails painted and is sure to point out when her “powwish iss comeen off” and she needs a touch-up. Don’t have any polish handy? No problem, as long as you have some olives or raspberries on hand. 2. Mo-Mo. Milo has started a few really funny pronunciation things lately. He all of the sudden says a hard A sound when saying “A truck” or “A helicopter” and “the” is always “thee” as in “I want to see thee garbage truck.” My last (and favorite) is that instead of being Mama, I’m now “Mo-Mo” or “MawMaw”. 3. Silly D. Sophie’s got a few speech things of her own. Right now, she thinks it’s hilarious to put a “d” in place of a “t”. So if she’s cracking up over the “cilandro” I put in our salsa, you know why. Again with the preschool humor. 4. Mr. Flirtman. Milo’s flirting has reached new levels. This week he was proposed marriage by a gorgeous 68 year old who fell in love with him at the grocery check-out. I couldn’t blame her since Milo was helping load her groceries onto the conveyor belt while sneaking grins and waggly eyebrows at her. #hisflirtgameisstrong 5. The good ol’ summertime. We’ve been in such a rough patch for so many months, this summer–with lighter schedules and sunshine–has been such a great change of pace.
p.s. I guest-posted over at Good Life Eats this week with an easy migas bake. It’s yummy!
