Using 1 lime in this recipe will give a nice citrus punch to cut through the mango flavor. 2 limes will make lime the predominant flavor with a mango undertone. You decide!
- 1 cups frozen mango
- 1/2 banana, sliced or broken into pieces
- 3/4–1 cup baby spinach
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- zest and juice of 1-2 limes
- Place all ingredients in a blender.* Puree 45-60 seconds or until very smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary. Drink as a smoothie, or pour into popsicle molds and freeze 3-4 hours (or until solid).
- *Note: If you don’t have a high-speed blender, try blending just the spinach and juice together before adding the other ingredients. This will help break the spinach up a little better.
