I love end-of-the-year posts. It’s so fun to take a step back and see what you enjoyed the most this year!
One big hit was Pumpkin Week! I did 5 days of pumpkin recipes right at the beginning of fall and WOW was the response great! Other favorites were made-over desserts, easy weeknight or meal prep options. You’ve got my wheels turning already for next year! But for the final 2017 countdown, here were your favorite recipes of 2017, along with what YOU had to say about them:
Top 10 Recipes of 2017 & What You Had to Say About Them
“I just made this. I added cucumber, cherry tomatoes, garlic and little ground red pepper for some spice and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone who tried it loved it.”
“I just made this tonight and wooooooow. So delicious!!! Thank you for sharing!”
“These turned out great, just took them out of the oven. I used strips of leftover baked ham, criss crossed on the bottom. I had leftover cooked veggies(broccoli, cauliflower and carrots from a bag of frozen) and topped each “muffin” with those snippets of tomato from the ends that no one wants to eat. I added no seasonings at all, the ham flavored the the quiches perfectly. Will do these again. My next experiment with these will be with fruit and bacon as the ingredients. I think the sweet and salty will turn out fabulous. Thanks, great recipe and EZ!”
“I tried making some of these today. I love them! They are so simple to make and are so versatile. I can’t wait to try another batch with some different flavor combinations.”
“I have been making these for a week every morning, for my newly gluten- free daughter. They are amazing!! Lovely texture and flavor.”
“Besides making smoothies or margaritas, this is the first recipe I made using my food processor. You are right, so much faster and easier! These were absolutely delicious!!! My 5 year old grandson helped me concoct a delicious syrup to pair with the pancakes. We combined: maple syrup, butter, organic coconut, a bit of vanilla extract, and pecan pieces. Thanks for the recipe! We’ll be making these again real soon.”
“This is one of our very favorite veggies dishes!”
“Finally got around to trying this recipe. This is a winner! DH ate two helpings, and he is not a big fan of vegetables!”
“I can’t get enough of sweet potatoes. They are so good, they make such a great base for all those toppings.”
“Stuffed sweet potatoes are a favorite around here! Love all these different variations!”
“I made this tonight for dinner and it was a hit with all six of us! Thank you!”
“Although I love fruit, I’ve never been too fond of fruit salads and I think I’ve just realised why. Too many varieties in one bowl that do not compliment one another. A three fruit salad and with a dressing…. I feel like this may be a revelation for me!”
“I made this recipe this morning and followed the recipe exactly. It is delicious!! My husband loves it and had two helpings. Thank you so much. We will definitely be making this again and again. We are going to make the Baked Oatmeal with Mixed Berries next. We are so happy to find more yummy vegan recipes that we can enjoy.”
“I made it this morning and it was sooo….. yummy. It was quite soft so that our 10 months old son was able to easily eat it and what can I tell he loved it and had a very big portion of it. I was really surprised about how much he can eat in the morning because he usually doesn’t eat much for breakfast. Thank you so much for the recipe and best regards from Germany.”
“Making this for dinner tonight. this will be the 3rd or 4th time. My boys love it and i love the ingredients.”
“Eating this as I type and it’s fantastic. And SO FAST to make. I used coconut aminos and followed the recipe exactly and it’s awesome. MyFitnessPal calculates this (made with coconut aminos) as 218 calories, 23g carbs, 5g fat and 23g of protein.”
“This is the best brownie recipe ever- gooy, satisfying, perfect flavour balance and texture and yet with health benefits. A big thankyou from a food lover and healthy eating fan.”
“I’ll be honest I was a little hesitant to try these, while I like paleo desserts my work colleagues are not always a fan. However I made them and you can’t even tell they are Paleo. My work colleagues didn’t even notice. I will be making these again for sure. Thank you!”
“Made this for a Valentine treat and topped it with raspberries! I have really come to trust the recipes you post. I have made quite a few and they have all been wonderful! Thank you for helping our gluten-free, dairy-free household!”
“Made this tonight and it was fantastic! Probably the best, and easiest, vegan chocolate pudding I’ve found. It was a huge hit with my kids and my husband even enjoyed it. I usually modify recipes, but I didn’t need to change anything with this.”
