Description

Our easy comeback sauce recipe is a great way to add BIG flavor to your favorite meals. Once you try it, you’ll want to put this creamy southern-style sauce on everything from chicken to roasted veggies, potatoes, fries, shrimp, fish & so much more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Frank’s Red Hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine. In a small bowl, combine mayo, ketchup, Frank’s red hot, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk until completely smooth.
  3. Taste & Adjust. Then, taste the sauce, adding more garlic, hot sauce, or pepper, to taste.
  4. Serve & Store. Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container in the fridge up to 1 week. (This sauce doesn’t freeze well.) Try this sauce with chicken, fish, shrimp, veggies, potatoes, fries, and more!

Notes

  • Mayo. Since mayonnaise is one of the key ingredients in this sauce, I recommend using a high-quality brand with great flavor.
  • Hot Sauce. You can swap in your favorite hot sauce here. Some people make their comeback sauce with Sriracha, others use Tabasco or other hot sauces.
  • Tone Down The Heat. If you’re nervous about the spice level, you can make this comeback sauce mild by using 3 Tablespoons ketchup and 1 Tablespoon Frank’s Red Hot instead of 2 Tablespoons each. It’ll cut the heat in half!
