This easy gluten-free chili seasoning mix is a delicious blend that makes homemade chili taste incredible. Mix up a batch in minutes & enjoy all season long! (Naturally vegan, paleo & whole30)

To Replace A Single Chili Seasoning Packet:
- 2 Tablespoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Optional: 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- Optional (for more heat): 1/2-1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder (add 1/2 tsp. for medium heat and 1 teaspoon for spicy) You can also add cayenne pepper for even more heat!
To Make A Big Batch (4x)
- 8 Tablespoons chili powder
- 2 Tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 3 teaspoons pepper
- Optional: 4 Tablespoons cornstarch
- Optional (for more heat): 2-4 teaspoons chipotle chili powder (add 2 tsp. for medium heat and 4 teaspoon for spicy)
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl or a glass jar, combine chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add cornstarch and/or chipotle chili powder (if using)
- Whisk the ingredients together, or cover the jar with a lid and shake to combine well.
- If you made a single batch: use the entire seasoning blend to replace 1 chili seasoning packet
- If you made a large batch: Use 3-3 1/2 Tablespoons gluten-free chili seasoning blend to replace 1 seasoning packet (use 4-4 1/2 Tablespoons if you also included the cornstarch).
