Description

This pretty-in-pink dragonfruit smoothie is one of our favorites. The bright pink color hides it’s secret identity: it’s really a green smoothie! (For a vegan version – use chia seeds. For paleo – use chia seeds or 1 scoop collagen protein)

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 frozen packet pitaya (like Pitaya Plus)
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 cup frozen mango
  • 3/4 cup frozen pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or water)

Instructions

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth, adding more milk or orange juice as needed. Divide into 2 large smoothies or 4 small smoothies.

Top with fresh fruit, granola, nuts, coconut, or any of your favorites!

Notes

*Some people find that pitaya isn’t sweet enough for them. If you need to or want to, you can add 1 tbsp honey, pure maple syrup, 2 pitted dates, or 1/2 a banana to sweeten this smoothie a bit more.
