Poppy Seed Dressing


  • 1/3c cider vinegar
  • 1/2c + 2 Tbsp canola oil
  • 34Tbsp finely grated red onion
  • 1/2c sugar
  • 1tsp dry mustard powder
  • 1 1/2tsp salt
  • 1 1/2tsp poppy seeds


  1. Combine all ingredients in a lidded jar and shake until well combined. (You can also use a blender or food processor if you don’t want to use a jar.)
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning by adding more vinegar, oil, or sugar. Store in the refrigerator.


Will keep up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
