2. Pedal please? Milo is allllllmost going to start thinking about pedaling his bike. I can’t think of a great way for him to get the hang of the motion. He’s still little, but I wonder if any of you have had any good tricks for teaching that little pedaling motion?
3. She’s an author. Out of nowhere, Sophie started writing stories this week. She’ll illustrate a story (either one she’s familiar with or one she made up), then write one or two words and write scribble text on the rest of the page. I just love it. She’s made one for everyone in the family so far.
4. Blue skies and sunshine. I’m so grateful for how sunny and beautiful it’s been this week. It’s been a pretty stressful one with all the things and big decisions on our plate. Sophie has unknowingly rescued me from that every time she asked to go on a bike ride or play at the park. Getting out into the sun and warmth and fresh air has been just the re-set I’ve needed to keep going! (Also, Sophie’s getting so fast on her bike!)
5. Little love. My other saving grace this week has been this little lovey. Seriously, he’s been such a handful lately, but he also says how much he loves me a dozen times a day. He’ll give me hugs and kisses almost any time I need them. He’s also told Sophie “you’re da best sister inna whole earf” more than once, and just been the sweetest little cheering section. Whether it’s been for small therapy victories for Sophie (“you did it Soph!”) or me trying on a new pair of jeans (“so nice, mom!”) He’s just the sweetest.
Happy Weekend, dear reader!
Wishing you every good thing!
p.s. if you didn’t catch it, I launched a YouTube channel earlier this week! There are only two video up, but I have more coming soon! Stop by, say hi!
