FAQ + Tips And Tricks For The Best Berry Orange Fruit Salad
Serving Suggestions To Try. This Orange berry fruit salad is gorgeous in a big serving bowl as a side dish at dinner, but you can also pair it with yogurt & granola at breakfast, or serve it with dollops of whipped cream for a healthy dessert!
Prep Ahead Tips. Fruit salad will have the best texture within 1-2 hours of making it, but you CAN get ahead by washing and prepping some of the fruit, and the dressing. I use this technique for washing berries to make them last longer for my strawberries & blueberries. Then, you can mix up the dressing (stored separately!) and you can prep and segment the oranges ahead of time, then. I just need to wash the black berries and raspberries right before serving!
Even More Variations To Try. Feel free to use my honey lime fruit salad dressing instead of the orange dressing here. Or, try adding orange zest or even fresh basil leaves instead of fresh mint! (It sounds weird, I know, but once you’ve tried my strawberry basil lemonade, you’ll get the hype!)
